Kashif’s career spans over 25 years in the UK, Switzerland, and the UAE covering the comprehensive finance spectrum in private banking, discretionary portfolio management, investment advisory, and private equity/venture capital. 

Kashif began his career in 1996 in academia teaching Game Theory, Accounting and Statistics at LSE, and Imperial College London post which he joined a quantitative fund management house, First Quadrant Investment, in London as a Research Associate. 

He joined Killik & Co., a private client asset management firm in 2000 and expanded the company’s operations to DIFC-UAE, as Managing Director MENA in 2007. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in establishing strategic alliances with multiple regional investment players.

In 2010, he joined UBS AG Private Banking as an Executive Director where he dealt with HNW/UHNW and Family Offices catering to their needs in international investments and corporate investment advisory services. 

Whilst at UBS he was offered the CEO position at Capital Quantum Inc. 2013, providing investment advisory services to multi-family offices. In 2014, Kashif initiated a JV between Capital Quantum and Envestors UK, creating Envestors MENA chapter encompassing investments into the fast-growing GCC tech-related SME’s and start-ups, identifying key growth equity &/or debt opportunities for HNWI’s, investment clubs, family offices, and governments. 

Kashif holds an MSc in Economics Management from London School of Economics, and an MSc Corporate Finance from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He pursued a PhD in Financial Econometrics at Imperial College UK in 1997 which he later deferred for personal reasons.
