Prior to joining Imani Wealth Management, Omar held a variety of leadership positions in wealth management with major multinational banks including Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, and ABN Amro across MESA & the UK. Most notably, he was Head of Priority Banking, Wealth Management, UAE and Offshore Markets Pakistan, Iran and Africa at Standard Chartered Bank. He also was Global Head of Pakistan in HSBC, Private Banking. With his extensive knowledge of financial strategies that focus on Wealth and Investment Management and international exposure Omar covered key clients across the region. 

Omar Farooq is a seasoned Wealth Management professional and brings with him 30+ years of banking experience. He enjoys listening to Jazz music and is a keen golfer.

He holds an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology , USA and an M. Com & B. Com from the Hailey College of Commerce, Pakistan and certification in International Capital Markets Qualification (ICMQ) from London.
